The Training Demo Sites Seminar was organized on the 20th of April 2022. The project coordinator introduced the project, those responsible for each demo site presented each of the demo sites and those responsible for each installed technology presented the respective solution. Last week on the 23rd of March, the Final Scores Meeting took place in Gleisdorf, Austria.
The project meeting was held at AEE INTEC and later in the day, all partners visited the Gleisdorf demo site.

The SCORES project was presented by Luis Coelho from the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal at the Thermoss project public workshop in Brussels! Thermoss is a H2020 project focused on energy efficiency in heating and cooling.
The 6th edition of the forum will take place from 30th March to 2nd April 2020 in Munich, Germany. The event is Europe's biggest conference dedicated solely to energy storage. It focuses on the most important topics connected to energy storage and provides a platform for great speakers.

The commissioned heat pump system from Heliopac is now up and running. Together with it, the electrical equipment has been placed at the site in the container and the photo-voltaic system was installed on its roof.
We are happy to announce, that the hydraulic, electric and data connections are ready and we plan to start with the demonstration in January.
Thanks to the great work from TNO, we are able to share with you new posters about Scores project! The posters explain how the heat battery works in an apartment building or a single-family house.
How does the Heat Battery work? What is the idea behind Scores project? What is the general principle of energy storage? All these questions are answered in the beautifully designed brochure by TNO.
Our GA meeting took place in The Hague, the Netherlands from 8th to 10th October 2019.

On the 28th September, Scores project was presented at the International Conference “ENERGY in BUILDINGS” in Athens, Greece by our project partners from Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (João Francisco & Luís Coelho).
What is even better? SCORES was not only presented at the conference but also in the workshop on European Projects that was organised within it.
We are really happy to spread the word about our project and we cannot wait for the next opportunity to do so!

Next General Assembly meeting is getting closer! This time Scores project GA will meet in the Netherlands. The meeting will take place from 8th to 10th October in The Hague. Save the date!
We are very happy to welcome Peter van Os from TNO as the new project coordinator of Scores project! We want to thank the former PC Christophe Hoegaerts for all his great work and wish him all the best in the future.
His successor, Peter van Os, has a vast experience as a project manager at TNO and we cannot wait for our cooperation!
From 1st to 6th October, Dubrovnik will be hosting a new edition of the Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES). The conference is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge on methods, policies and technologies for increasing the sustainability of development by de-coupling growth from the use of natural resources and by a transition to a knowledge-based economy.

A team of engineers and scientists from the Dutch research organization TNO has built a laboratory scale setup for testing a heat storage technology!
SCORES project representatives are planning to attend another TESSe2b Workshop, this time in Warsaw, Poland. TESSe2b workshops are always a great opportunity to meet with both the scientific community and project designers and discuss our thoughts and ideas.

On 10th April, a workshop of our cluster project TESSe2b took place in Graz, Austria. The workshop included a meeting of H2020 projects' partners and also a visit to the TESSe2b demo site.
It was also a great opportunity to share our knowledge and present updates of the SCORES project. A short presentation was prepared and led by Luis Coelho from Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal.

SCORES project meeting was held last week from 9th to 11th April. The assembly gathered in CZELO - Czech Liaison Office for Research in Brussels, Belgium.
Project Officer Monica Spinu and Project Technical Advisor Jean-Yves Quinette attended the first day of the project review meeting.
During the following days, we have discussed our achievements and future. We are really happy that the project is running smoothly and we want to thank all the people involved in it.
We look forward to the future of the SCORES project and we cannot wait to meet our partners again!

Presentation of SCORES project was a part of "SAVE TODAY, USE TOMORROW! - Thermal Energy Storage Systems" workshop, that was held on 28th February in Wels, Austria and was organized within the World Sustainable Energy Days 2019.
Christophe Hoegaerts from TNO introduced the SCORES project to audiance in the first part of the workshop and continued with explaining our goals during the interactive poster sessions.
It was a great opportunity to talk about our project with fellow professionals, colleagues, partners and the general public.

Luis Coelho from Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal presented SCORES project at the TESSe2b workshop, organized in association with World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies.
The workshop took place on 24th January 2019 at the University of Nottingham.
We have started cluster cooperation with Heat4cool project!
The Heat4Cool concept proposes innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions that support EU energy efficiency policies through optimal integration of relevant rehabilitation systems. The project develops, integrates and demonstrates an easy to install and highly energy efficient solution for building retrofitting.

SCORES at TESSe2b workshop in Nottingham!
Both industry and academia will join together to discuss current innovations in the field of energy storage and efficiency in the built environment. The focus will be placed on integrated solutions for residential, commercial and public buildings using renewable sources. The workshop will take place on 24th January 2019 at the University of Nottingham. Our project will be introduced by representatives of IPS.

SCORES representatives from RINA-C will introduce our project during the seminar "General-States on Hydrogen and fuel cells - The role of hydrogen in the energy transition and mobility" tomorrow at Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy).
The use of hydrogen is becoming increasingly widespread in the whole world. Despite the full compatibility of these technologies with the Italian energy system, their diffusion is still limited in Italy. What are the technological, economic and legislative barriers that prevent its rapid development also in Italy? General States Hydrogen and Fuel Cells 2018 will discuss this topic with the world of research, industry, and institutions, in light of Italy's recent adhesion to the " Hydrogen Initiative " of the European Union.
SCORES consortium met at the General Assembly meeting after 12 months of the project in Baden-Baden (Germany) from 6th to 8th November 2018. They had a chance to discuss the project progress and plans for the next six-month period.
Coordinator of the project also appreciated the partners from Heliopac for a great representation of the project during the ECTP conference, where their system HELIOPACSYSTEM+, also used in the SCORES project, was awarded as one of the most promising technologies.
Our partners from Heliopac will participate in the ECTP conference on the 13th of November in Brussels and give a brief presentation in the EeB session about the SCORES project.
Their technology heliopacsystem+ has been selected as one of the “most promising technologies arising from the EeB cPPP project” in the Lighting and HVAC category. The session starts at 14:45 in the Amphitheater "Studio".

The SCORES project was introduced during the workshop organised by our cluster project – TESSe2b. Joao Garcia from IPS Setubal gave a presentation titled “The SCORES project and the new compact hybrid storage technologies” in EFINTEC - Exposicion y Forum de las Empresas Instaladoras y Nuevas Tecnologias on 4th October 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. As Joao Garcia claimed, the project was very well received by the participants of the masterclass.
EFINTEC aims to bring together all the sectors of installation and distribution of professionals in energy, electricity, telecommunications, air conditioning, gas, refrigeration, plumbing and, generally, intelligent and connected technologies and facilities, whose objective is to exchange experiences and news with its suppliers and professionals, also offering the necessary technical support to the brands and products that lead the market.
FENIX TNT will present the SCORES project via booth and brochures during the upcoming edition of the ECTP conference “When EU Construction Industry shapes high-tech Sustainable Built Environment”. The 8th ECTP open Conference will take place in Brussels on November 13-14, 2018 and will be dedicated to present and discuss current and anticipated innovation in the built environment field.
This event is a key opportunity to meet and network with experts, receive a full update on RDI in the construction sector and be informed on new and innovative technical developments.

SCORES project will be part of the TESSe2b Conference: “Thermal Energy Storage Systems for Energy Efficient Buildings. An integrated solution for residential building energy storage by solar and geothermal resources” which will be held within the “ENERGY in BUILDINGS” Conference on 3rd November 2018 in Athens, Greece.
“ENERGY in BUILDINGS” is an International Conference that will take place for the seventh consecutive year. It brings together Engineers, Architects, Academics and Professionals of different disciplines and other stakeholders who contribute to and advance the state of art of the built environment.
We will keep you updated.
SCORES project was introduced to the representatives of the China Academy of Building Research (CABR) who visited the FENIX TNT premises in Brno, Czech Republic on 26th June. CABR is the largest comprehensive R&D institution in the building sector in China. Their research and business cover 70 fields of such specialties as building structure, soil foundation, earthquake-resistance engineering, building environment and energy efficiency, building software, construction mechanization, building fire-prevention, construction technology and building materials. In recent years, CABR has put more efforts to research and development of technologies concerning green buildings, new energy applications, disaster prevention and mitigation and intelligent integration.
SCORES project was presented via presentation and brochures.
SCORES project has been mentioned in the annual publication of the ECTP portal “The EeB PPP Project Review 2018” This yearly publication presents the progress of a portfolio of 168 European research projects aiming at developing new technologies for energy efficient buildings. 110 projects are co-funded within the EeB PPP under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) from 2010 to 2013 and 58 projects are co-funded under the Horizon 2020 programme between 2014 and 2017.

IPS (Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Portugal) represented our project during the Seminar “PCM4Buildings - PCMs: Thermophysical characterization and buildings' applications" that took place in the Department of Chemical Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, on 14th and 15th June 2018. SCORES was introduced within a presentation given by João Garcia entitled “The SCORES project and the new compact hybrid storage technologies”.
Polytechnic Institute of Setubal (IPS) will have a presentation in the Seminar PCM4BUILDINGS in Coimbra, Portugal on 15th June 2018, related with the usage of phase change materials (PCM´s) for Building applications.

On 27th June, TNO will introduce the SCORES project within the workshop called “The future of energy storage” (organized by R2M Solution from the HYBUILD project) at Sustainable Places 2018. SP2018 will be held in Aix-les-Bains, France from 27th to 29th June. Other H2020 projects presented within this workshop are: HYBUILD, Create project, E2vent project, TESSe2b and STORY project.

SCORES project was presented by FENIX TNT during the Workshop called “E2VENT – Horizon 2020 in practice”. The workshop took place on 30th May in Technology Centre CAS in Prague, Czech Republic. The project was represented via roll-up and brochures.
SCORES consortium met during the General Assembly Meeting after 6 months which took place from 18th to 20th April 2018 in Paris, France.
The meeting was hosted by two project partners, FORSEE POWER and CAMPA, and partners also had a chance to see the FORSEE POWER facilities. During the meeting, partners discussed individual work packages and their progress as well as plan for the next six-month period.
The European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform (ECTP) is a leading membership organization promoting and influencing the future of the Built Environment. ECTP is today one of the 38 European Technology Platforms (ETPs) which are industry-led stakeholder fora recognized by the European Commission as key actors in driving innovation, knowledge transfer and European competitiveness.

From 25. to 28.4. 2018 visitors had a chance to see a unique presentation of all aspects of housing and house constructions, building management services, technical solutions and equipment. The SCORES project was promoted by FENIX TNT which participated at BUDMA - INTERNATIONAL CONSTRUCTION AND ARCHITECTURE FAIR in Poznan, Poland. The fair took place form 30th January to 2nd February 2018.
BUDMA is the largest construction industry trade fair in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. The fair is dedicated to the four major groups of visitors: architects, traders, contractors, and developers. Each year, more than 800 exhibitors meets here over 45 000 professionals. Exhibitors exposure is complemented by a rich programme of events, debates, conferences and seminars regarding the latest trends and regulation industry held by the recognized industry authorities.
The SCORES consortium met in Brussels, Belgium for the kick-off meeting (8-10th November 2017). The project partners introduced themselves and discussed the planned activities within the work packages. The kick-off meeting is a great opportunity for partners to meet each other face-to-face and to establish successful cooperation.
